Scale 1-10 allows for a wider range of responses, offering more nuance in ratings. The choice of scale depends on factors such as the objectives of the assessment, the complexity of the behaviors being assessed, and the ease of interpretation of the results.

With Panoramic Feedback, you have the flexibility to customize your rating scale labels/anchors to better align with the questionnaire statements and your assessment objectives. Few examples: 

Agreement labels (most common), ranging from "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree” allow participants to express their level of agreement or disagreement with each statement, providing valuable insights into perceptions and attitudes. 

Frequency labels, ranging from "never" to "always," are employed to assess the frequency with which individuals exhibit specific skills or behaviors. 

Competence scales, spanning from "not developed" to "outstanding," are instrumental in assessing an individual's proficiency in particular skills. By utilizing competence scales, organizations can effectively tailor training programs and support strategies to enhance employee skills and performance.

While Panoramic Feedback technically doesn't impose restrictions on the length of a questionnaire, we advise keeping your 360-degree feedback questionnaire relatively concise – ideally within 45-50 questions, including narrative comments. This recommendation aims to prevent responder fatigue, particularly in larger projects where a responder may be invited to complete multiple questionnaires.
